Team Kicks for a Cure Needs You!
Relay for Life Logo

What is Team Kicks for a Cure? It is our Relay for Life Team!

July 15th/16th will be our 11th year participating in the Butler Relay for Life! If you've never been to the Relay before, it is not a race! It is a 24 hour community event that raises money for the American Cancer Society, shows support to our local Cancer Survivors and allows families who have been affected by cancer to join together. It is free to attend and open to the public with lots to see and do! There is a DJ, live music acts, performances by our own Demo Team (including a glow in the dark one!), kids games & activities, a live butterfly release, awesome raffle prizes, food and more!

Relay for Life is held at the Butler Farm Show Grounds. This year's theme is Super Heroes! So each time will be representing different super heroes with games and activities at their tents. There is also a costume contest, so come with a camera and get a picture with your favorite super hero! Our team will be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Each team tries to have at least one participant on the track walking laps at all times (which is where the Relay gets it's name!). We need students and families who are willing to walk for our team, or help out at our tent site where we sell lap tracker necklaces, glow toys and food! We also need students to come cheer on our entry in the Road to Recovery Race, the Miss Relay Contest and more! Students cane participate in lots of fun games like a giant version of Kerplunk, the Frozen T-Shirt Contest,a Tic Tac Toe Relay Race, Parachute Games for the little ones, release a live butterfly and more!
