Songahm Spirit of Taekwondo

As ATA Taekwondo Event Begins:

"Sir:

I will practice in the Spirit of Taekwondo,
With Courtesy for fellow students,
Loyalty for my instructor,
And Respect for my juniors and seniors,

Sir!"

 

 

 

As ATA Taekwondo Event Ends:

"Sir:

I shall live with Perseverance in the Spirit of Taekwondo,
Having Honor with others,
Integrity within myself,
And Self Control in my actions,

Sir!"

 

Courtesy - Polite behavior, gesture or remark.

Loyalty - The quality of being loyal; fidelity to a superior or to duty.

Respect - Willingness to show consideration or appreciation.

Perseverance - Steady persistence in adhering to a course of action.

Honor - A mark, token, or gesture of respect or distinction.

Integrity - Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.

Self Control - Control of one's emotions, desires, or actions by one's own will.
